Flos will celebrate the centenary of Achille’s birth with a limited edition of the TOIO lamp

Toio –  projected in 1962- is not just an icon of the Castiglioni’s brothers- but also one of the lamps that better represent the Achille Castiglioni’s idea of “Ready made objects”.

A 300-watt car light imported from the United States, is at the same time the light source and the source of inspiration for the lamp. The transformer is placed at the base and acts as a solid support for the device. The hexagonal stem – light as a fishing rod – is fixed at the desired height thanks to a screw. The electric cable runs along the stem passing inside three fishing rod rings.
