LC2 Le CORBUSIER (1887-1965) Charles-Edouard Jeanneret, known as Le Corbusier, is born in La Chaux de Fonds in the Swiss Jura, in 1887, and died in France, at Cap Martin, on the French Riviera, in 1965. Cassina re-proposes the furniture considering them always “current” to the extent that the “form”, clear and simple, allows them a maximum degree of willingness to charge from time to time-in accordance with changing times and environments for which they are intended-gives new meanings. The Cassina collection by Le Corbusier is characterized in some projections that are true symbols of design and décor.
