History of the MOGG Brand

Among the brands we know today that stand at the top of design furniture production, MOGG has a fairly recent story. Its origins trace back to the Salone del Mobile in Milan in 2012, but its structure and concepts were so compelling that it immediately became a leading company in the sector. Its identity was clearly defined from the start.

Within the company, its design is described as “democratic,” while maintaining an always-elegant look. This is because, in creating objects useful for everyday life in any home, versatility and research—using plastics and curved lines—are combined with tradition, employing warm, familiar materials.

From day one, the corporate motto has been “unlimited design,” emphasizing the meeting of art and design, between the pursuit of what is exclusive, unique, and iconic, and serial production.

Casarredo’s MOGG Offerings

Casarredo features some exclusive items produced by MOGG in its catalog: coat racks such as the Bice or Memorie, and the Manolo shoe cabinet. These objects may appear simple, but they are indispensable in any living space and, with the right design, can make a significant difference in interior decor.

Bice is a coat rack with brass-cast butterfly elements; the unique material makes it both functional and decorative.

Memorie is a very recent coat rack, designed in 2017 by Luca Somaini: its basic concept consists of actual key shapes in brass with glossy black nickel finish.

The Manolo shoe cabinet features a burnished metal frame, with compartments in dark-stained ash wood: designed by Idelfonso Colombo, it is a storage piece with an extra edge.
