The Leggera chair marks the beginning in 1952 of a iter which includes all the design and executive collaboration between Gio Ponti, Cesare Cassina and his artisans, who arrived in 1957 at Superleggera. Compared to the latter, characterized by slender triangular-shaped legs, the Leggera has uprights with an almost circular section and, due to its extreme resistance and simplicity which expresses all the nobility of the anonymous object, it is a chair that has had over the years a very high commercial and distributive distribution. A silhouette made of solid ash wood, in a range of variants designed to emphasize its elegance and to be combined with other models in the catalog. The seat is upholstered in fabric or leather, both covers are removable or in natural paper cord. Structure: • in solid natural or natural stained ash, black, white, walnut, mud, petrol green, amaranth red.
