Handmade blown glass vases. Designed By Carlo Scarpa. Colour: coral red/milk glass TECHNIQUE USED: milk glass is an opaque white glass, invented in around the middle of the 15th century in order to mimic the first porcelain all the rage in Europe. Is achieved by superimposing “incamiciando“ milk glass with a thin transparent and colored glass or more glasses, getting beautiful vibrant colors and bright objects. To embellish coloured glasses are included on all surface gold and silver leaves getting beautiful objects “More“
